About ANID

The National Identification Agency (ANID), in accordance with Law no. 2020-009 of September 10, 2020 on the biometric identification of individuals in Togo, is responsible for carrying out identification activities. It is the national authority for biometric identification of individuals.

It contributes significantly to defining the State’s policy and strategic orientations in the field of biometric identification of individuals, and is responsible for their implementation. It provides assistance to government departments in the field of personal identification and authentication. It also provides biometric identification services.
